Howdy everyone! I've been around....kinda.....just stealth dropping random art cause new DA is still stupid intimidating for me. BUT I would LOVE to start getting more involved in this site again! Hopfully I can get a hang of this site again XD

Drawing Cryptids Racist?

Do to a lot of the comments in my latest Wendigo adopt I feel like I need to make myself clear on some things on how I feel.
And not to be rude or anything but....
It is NOT racist to purposely misinterpret a cryptid out of inspection for artistic freedom.
As an artist I feel like I can pretty much draw what I want. Regardless if anyone likes it. Because I love drawing, its what I do, and I personally don't like others telling me I can't draw this or that because of an opinion. Now telling me I'm racist and disrespectful for making an adopt for the purpose of profit on a misrepresented cryptid is a bit much.
And to be honest rather rude in itself.
There are sooooo many other adopts that are based on cryptids werewolves, fae, centaurs, anything under the sun there is an adopt on it. And not all are spot on representations of them and that's the beauty of art, it can be anything you want. But I also don't see them getting hollered at for it for 'misrepresenting' the creature or being disrespectful of the native people. My windigo adopt should be no different.
It is a cryptid that I took inspection on and made it my own for others to enjoy.
SO, Tell me? Is it racist to sell cryptid adopts? and I'm talking ALL cryptids cause picking just one would be a bit weird.
So if anyone wants to be rude they don't need to type. BUT if you wanna have a civil conversation on this matter feel free to leave a comment down below on your opinions!

Old Tereyagh concept!?

Yeah I haven't really been that active other than posting more art. Which I should change that. I'd like to be more involved with the peeps that find my art cool. So I was digging around and I found this old concept I did!
Awww look at all those spelling mistakes! God this thing has got to be about 15 years old....SO, I'm going to revamp this species! but my questions is for you guys. If it what up to you, what would you keep about the design? what would you change? add? make different?
